Metal silicon induction furnace, especially medium frequency melting furnace, is mainly used for melting metal silicon. It uses the principle of induction heating to heat the high-purity graphite crucible through a magnetic field, and then heats and melts the metal silicon.
This induction melting furnace is usually composed of a furnace body, a power control cabinet, a capacitor rack and a hydraulic station. It can work continuously for 24 hours and has self-test and water leakage alarm functions.
Induction furnaces are also used to smelt other metals, such as steel, copper, aluminum, etc.
Induction furnaces are mainly used for metal melting, especially for melting silicon-aluminum alloys. It is suitable for industries such as machinery industry, construction, and civil life.
Induction melting furnaces are divided into cored and coreless types. Cored induction furnaces are often used for smelting and heat preservation of cast iron, while coreless induction furnace are of power frequency, triple frequency and medium frequency types.
