The ferrosilicon furnace pressure ring, namely the submerged arc furnace pressure ring (also called arc furnace pressure rings or resistance furnace pressure rings), is the main component of the electrode of submerged arc furnaces for conducting electricity, and is also the key component for maintaining and adjusting the electrode. It is located in the electrode holder, and is mainly used to press the electrode to the copper tile, ensuring that the current passes through the copper tile evenly into the furnace, thereby realizing the smelting process.

High temperature: The internal environment temperature of the submerged arc furnaces extremely high, and the pressure rings must withstand the test of high temperature and thermal radiation.
Conductive: Heat is generated during the process of its own conduction, which increases the difficulty of the working environment of the pressure ring.
Heat flow: The submerged arc furnace pressure ring needs to have sufficient cooling capacity to withstand the strong heat flow from the furnace.
Production of ferroalloys: such as ferrosilicon, ferromanganese, ferrochrome, ferrotungsten, etc.
Reduction smelting: used for reduction smelting of raw materials such as ore, carbonaceous reducing agent, solvent, etc.
The current is transmitted to the electrode through the copper tile, and then enters the ferrosilicon furnace for smelting.
The ferrosilicon furnace pressure ring presses the electrode to the copper tile through its own structure to ensure the stable transmission of current.
The cooling system of the pressure ring can reduce its own temperature, thereby ensuring its stable operation in harsh environments.
