The metal silicon induction furnace is mainly used for melting metal silicon, using the principle of induction heating. It is inductively heated to 1650-1750 degrees Celsius through a high-purity graphite crucible, and then the graphite crucible is used as a heating body to heat and melt the metal silicon.
This induction furnaces can be used to smelt various metals, such as scrap metal, iron, steel, copper and aluminum. When the alternating current provided by the power supply passes through the induction coil, an alternating magnetic field is generated around the coil. This magnetic field penetrates the metal silicon material in the crucible and induces eddy currents inside it.
Because metal silicon has resistance, eddy currents will generate a lot of Joule heat when flowing inside the material, causing the metal silicon itself to heat up and eventually melt.
Fast heating speed: Energy is generated directly inside the metal, and the heating efficiency is high.
Precise temperature control: The heating temperature can be controlled by adjusting the power supply parameters to meet different process requirements.
Clean and environmentally friendly: No fuel is used, avoiding smoke and exhaust gas pollution caused by combustion.
Uniform melting: The magnetic field has a certain stirring effect on metal silicon, making the molten metal composition and temperature more uniform.
