The refractory plaster is also applied between the IF furnace turns. A water-cooled ring is provided at the upper and lower parts of the induction coil.
The coil heating effect of IF induction furnace not only depends on the working current of induction melting furnace coil, but also is directly related to the shape of induction coil, number of turns, length of outgoing copper tube, material of workpiece, shape and other factors.
Therefore, the coil design of IF induction furnace shall firstly follow the loop effect, skin effect, sharp angle effect and proximity effect of induction coil.
The coil of IF induction furnace is used to transfer the induced current and then heat the workpiece. The induction furnace coil is an important part of the intermediate frequency heating induction. The coil shape shall be determined according to the shape of the workpiece heating surface. The copper tube at the induction part shall be parallel to or equidistant from the workpiece heating surface and the current flow direction between adjacent turns shall be consistent.
When purchasing the coil of IF induction furnace, firstly determine the heating power, heating temperature, heating cycle and workpiece specification of IF induction furnace, and provide the incoming voltage, vertical row position, water inlet and return position, coil center height and inductor length. If necessary, provide the total number of electric heating capacitors.
After these parameters are determined, the ordered coil of IF induction furnace will not have any problem, and can be matched with the original IF power supply to achieve the designed heating effect.
