Submerged arc furnace open-hole plugging machine refers to the special equipment used to open and block the iron outlet by submerged arc reduction electric furnace for smelting iron alloy.


Submerged arc furnace unplugging machine is dedicated to 6300KVA-80000KVA furnaces of high carbon ferrochrome, calcium carbide, silicon manganese alloy, silicon iron, high carbon ferromanganese, metallic silicon, ferronickel, etc.


Submerged arc furnace unplugging machine is widely used, almost all iron alloy electric furnaces and chemical electric furnaces can be used. With this machine, the service life of the furnace hole and the furnace age period can be greatly extended, and a large amount of electrical energy and raw materials can be saved.

Composition

The suspension open-plug machine is mainly composed of open-hole part, plugging part, walking part, lifting mechanism, hydraulic station, etc.


1) Opening part: the opening part consists of an opening machine and a propeller. The trepanning machine adopts the screw piston structure, which has the advantages of simple structure, small external dimensions, high impact frequency, large torque and great drilling force. When opening the furnace, the trepanning machine rotates while impacting and moves repeatedly until the furnace hole is opened. The propeller is mainly driven by a hydraulic cylinder to push the chain wheel installed on the push trolley, and then the chain wheel drives the drill to move forward and backward, with large thrust and stable operation.


2) Plugging part: this part adopts the structure of hydraulic cylinder and mud cylinder in series. Its main features are good centering, simple transmission mode, less parts and convenient daily maintenance. Improved dynamic seal structure, basically no mud return during mud plugging, long service life of hydraulic cylinder. In addition, a pushing trolley is equipped. The mud blocking cylinder is installed on the trolley and pushed by the hydraulic cylinder to adjust the distance between the mud blocking cylinder and the furnace mouth.


3) Traveling part: four traveling wheels are installed on the support of the main frame, and the traveling wheels are driven by the motor, transmission and chain to travel on the annular track.


4) Lifting mechanism: it is mainly designed for adjusting the height difference of slag and iron notch during the operation of hole plugging machine. The connecting rod swing arm is used to connect the chassis with the opening and plugging frame, and the center height of the opening and plugging machine is adjusted by two groups of lifting cylinders.


5) Hydraulic station: the opening part and the plugging part share one hydraulic station. The hydraulic station is a side-mounted hydraulic pump station, one for use and one for standby. When operating, start one of the hydraulic motors to meet the use of the unplugging machine, and one of them is for standby. Both the plugging machine and the hole opener are short-time operation. The motor of the oil pump of the hydraulic station is stopped in most of the time, and the pump shall be stopped after the completion of each operation of the hole opener. Each hydraulic component is controlled by the specified reversing valve.


6) The operation control mode is local handle operation control and wireless remote control operation control.

Structural Features

Full-hydraulic suspension unplugging machine is installed at the bottom of plane beam in front of the boiler (with hanger installed).

The working principle of the suspension open-hole plugging machine is that two sets of mechanisms are used to complete the open-hole and plugging actions, and the open-hole machine and the plugging machine are arranged under the running crane.

During tapping, the Opener pusher sends the Opener to the front of the furnace, then the Opener rotates and hits the furnace until the furnace hole is opened, and finally returns the Opener.

When the tapping is completed, start the left and right side of the hole plugging machine, push the hole plugging machine to the front of the furnace, align it with the furnace hole, push the mud plugging cylinder to the proper position of the furnace hole, push out the refractory mud for hole plugging, and after the hole plugging action is completed, run the crane to withdraw the complete set of mechanism from the high-temperature zone in front of the furnace.

The advantage of using the unplugging machine

Only one person is required for operation, reducing the number of workers, reducing the labor intensity of workers, and greatly shortening the time for opening and plugging holes.


Timely opening and plugging of holes can prevent the temperature in the furnace from dropping too low, and the opening time can be shortened by nearly one hour for each hot metal furnace, improving the process performance of electric furnace smelting.
